The Gift

The Story of Writing from Source

Have you had this experience? Something totally unplanned and unexpected shows up in your life and you wonder… Where did this come from? Why did it show up in my life? What am I supposed to do with this?

If you try to return to life as it had been, this unplanned, unexpected something keeps nudging you for attention. It keeps popping up, refusing to go away. Eventually you accept it for what it is–a gift.

That’s how Writing from Source showed up in my life. It came as a gift full of life enriching surprises.

I caught my first glimpse of Writing from Source in the summer of 2010 while preparing a workshop for a women’s group. Three simple statements came to mind. I crafted them into a program designed to experience the power of writing to get clarity and answers.

During the discussion that followed, I was amazed by the appreciative comments and depth of emotion the women expressed. Their responses to three simple statements had elicited far more than logical answers. They evoked enlightened perspectives and deep understanding.

Even so I still had no idea what I had or what to do with it.

Several months later the three statements resurfaced when I used them as the writing prompt for a teleseminar series on surviving the holiday season. The participants’ positive feedback birthed the idea to experiment with the three statements in monthly teleseminars.

Writing from Source came to mind as the name for the three-statement process. It felt right. With both secular and spiritual definitions, the word source is all-encompassing. While many resonate with its spiritual meaning, others relate more closely with its secular definitions, such as origin, fount, and wellspring.

Fueled by a deep knowing that this process was touching lives in powerful ways, I continued to offer the sessions every month for the next four years.

Through their open, heart-centered participation, the men and women who attended the sessions helped the Writing from Source process evolve into its current form — an energetic, spiritual process that connects us to the magnificent power inside us to reveal clarity, insights, guidance and solutions for specific issues in our lives.

My life’s journey led me to locales where cell and internet coverage were sporadic at best. That, among other reasons, caused me to stop offering sessions.

But I personally continued to use Writing from Source.

Recently, it started nudging me. And nudging me. And nudging me to start sharing it again.

With a joyful heart, I have accepted its calling.

When you are ready, I am here to guide you through every step of the process. What an incredible journey we will share together!
